On a beautiful night in Colorado Springs, the Pikes Peak Stampede hosted the Colorado Comets in a greatly anticipated game. After almost 30 minutes of play, the Comets finally broke the ice, with Maher Kayali scoring, on an assist from Christian Broadhurst. In answer, the Stampede increased their pace, and managed to break through the Comets' defense but were denied by GK brad Vik with a great save. The first half ended with the Comets leading 1-0.

In the second half, the dam broke. The Colorado Comets took control of the game with Maher Kayali scoring again, on an assist from Nelson Pinto. Continuing to repel the Stampede, the Comets scored their 3rd goal of the night, with Chino Melendez scoring on a rebounded free kick, with the ball flying over the Stampede wall and goalkeeper, and into the net.

Finally, in the 89th minute, Dan Huber of the Comets scored on a ball received from teammate, Zico Ward.

The game ended with the Colorado Comets defeating the Pikes Peak Stampede, 4-0.

Colorado Comets lead the USISL/PDSL Central Division with 6 wins and 2 losses.
