In the 10th minute, the Comets were attacking Kansas City's box, when a shot by Kevin Horn hit the crossbar.

In the 13th minute, a relaxed Colorado midfield allowed Kansas City to have a man advantage against them, which resulted in a goal. Kansas City leads 1 - 0

For the 2nd time today, the Comets hit the crossbar. In the 30th minute Kansas City scored again, and leads 2 - 0

In the 40th minute Colorado's hard shot on goal was saved by KC's goalkeeper, Jacob Gutierrez. With a 2 goal lead, KC is defending with all its players.

At the end of the first half, the score is Kansas City 2 Colorado Comets 0

In the 55th minute, Comets' Christian Broadhurst scored on a pass from Nelson Pinto and Rafael Amaya, changing the score to 2-1.

In the 61st minute Colorado's Chris Stumph equalized by scoring a goal, assisted by Mike Adams. The score is now tied 2 - 2

In the 2nd half, Coach Francis replaced Zico Ward with Rafael Amaya at midfield. Chris Stumph, and Rob Monroe came into the game and effectively changed the pace for the Comets.

Catching the Comets defenders flat, KC's Todd Shieffer scored in the 84th minute, giving them the lead with a score of 3 - 2. In the 86th minute, Colorado's Mike Adams scored, assisted by Mazan Kayali. The game is tied again 3 - 3

With 52 seconds left in the game, Colorado's Greg Oakley scored the winning goal, causing the Colorado Comets to come from behind and win the game 4 - 3.

The Comets still lead the USISL/PDL Central Division, with 27 points, 9 wins and 3 losses.
