With 20 minutes gone, the score remains 0-0. The Colorado Comets have knocked at Ascent's door several times, but their last touch has yet to hit its mark. In the 24th minute, Comets' Jorge Romo's long shot on goal just went above the crossbar.

By now, the Comets should be ahead 3-1, however, the score in the 37th minute remains 0-0.

At the end of the 1st half, the game remains scoreless.

In the 47th minute, Ascents scored an indoor style goal, but the Referee called an offsides. The game remains scoreless.

By the 51st minute of the game, the Comets have 10 shots on goal.

At the end of the 70th minute, the game remains tied 0-0, with both teams having close shaves.

In the 72nd minute, Ascent GoalKeeper tripped #16 Guillermo Concho, resulting in a Penalty Kick by the Comets. #10 Chris Edwinson scored a well placed goal breaking the scoreless tie, and giving the Colorado Comets a 1-0 lead.

In the 79th minute, Ascent GoalKeeper Richie Cullens made a great save. Cullens has made the difference to the Ascent team. He has prevented many goals by the Comets, keeping Ascent in the game.
