For a period of at least 5 minutes, the Comets played possession ball, preventing Boulder Nova from touching the ball.

In the second half, the game pace remains high, as both teams are pressuring each other.

Comets' veteran, Marc Perdew, Mazan Kayali, and Maher Kayali continue to shine in this game. However, the best Comets player, so far, is Justin Cantrell.

In the 54th minute, Boulder Nova's #2, Chris Theofiledes, again beat the Comets defenders just long enough to take a great shot, landing the ball in the upper right hand corner of the goal, giving Nova the lead for the first time this evening, 2-1.

In the 61st minute, making a goal line stand, Comets Juan Fachini and Justin Cantrell denied repeated shots on goal, sending Nova away empty handed.

Despite numerous goal scring opportunities, by the end of the game, Boulder Nova has defeated the Colorado Comets 2-1.
