CAMP DIRECTOR - MARK PERDEW

     From the Director… The RMSC experience goes far beyond the soccer field. We use the camp as a vehicle for teaching valuable "life lessons" such as integrity, discipline and responsibility while at the same time providing a high level of soccer education. Another aspect of life that we have wanted to promote is that of "community". In our search for a permanent location and facility for the RMSC, we were looking for a place where we could have a positive impact on the people who live in the area. We believe that we have found such a place in the historic gold mining town of Victor, Colorado.
     In 2007, we will operate all of our Live-in Camps and Team Retreats in Victor. This is a community that is literally trying to get out of "ghost town" status. To say that we have been well received by the City Council and townspeople would be an understatement. They can't wait for the RMSC to get there! We are excited to be a part of the renovation and rejuvenation of Victor.
     From the soccer camp standpoint, operating in Victor will allow us to change the way we do camp. The live-in camp programs this year will be more age specific and more topic sensitive. Our Open Camps will run Monday through Thursday and we are adding "Specialty Camps" Thursday through Saturday. A brief overview of Victor and the new agenda can be seen below.
     While the format will change, we will still provide the same high quality instruction, an outstanding coaching staff and the unique soccer camp experience that you have come to expect from the Rocky Mountain Soccer Camp. We hope that you will join us as we "MAKE HISTORY IN THE MIDST OF HISTORY"!
