RAPIDS CALL UP MIDFIELDER DANNY DEVALL FROM TENNESSEE RHYTHM OF THE A-LEAGUE

DeVall To Travel With Team To Columbus For Saturday's Matchup

DENVER (Friday, April 21, 2000) - The Colorado Rapids today called up midfielder Danny DeVall from the Tennessee Rhythm of the A-League. DeVall will join the Rapids for this Saturday's game, only, against the Columbus Crew (5:30 pm MT, Fox Sports Net).

The call-up was made following the trade of Kevin Anderson to the Tampa Bay Mutiny and the questions over whether recently acquired forward Matthew Okoh will be eligible to play Saturday.

DeVall, 27, is entering his second season with the Rhythm. He played in 21 games last year, scoring four goals and adding an assist. He was sixth on the team in points with nine.
