COLORADO RAPIDS TO HOST EASTER EGG HUNT AT MILE HIGH STADIUM IN CONJUNCTION WITH ANNUAL "MEET THE RAPIDS DAY"

DENVER (Monday, March 29, 1999) - The Colorado Rapids will host "Colorado's Biggest Easter Egg Hunt" in conjunction with their annual "Meet The Rapids Day" on Sunday afternoon, April 4, from 2-5 p.m. at Mile High Stadium.

The afternoon kicks off at 2:00 p.m. with a first for the Rapids as they host "Colorado's Biggest Easter Egg Hunt" on the field at Mile High Stadium. Children of all ages can join the Rapids players and their families in the hunt through the field for thousands of surprise-filled eggs.

Children will be divided into separate age groups so that every one is ensured of a fun and safe afternoon.

From there, it's the annual favorite, "Meet The Rapids Day," as fans are treated to the chance to meet all their favorite Rapids stars and leave with plenty of photos and autographs.

Fans can join the Rapids on the field to meet and chat with the players, get autographs and have their pictures taken with their favorite Rapids stars. Music, contests and video highlights round out what has become an annual hit with Rapids fans of all ages.

Besides meeting and visiting with the team, fans can have the chance to test their soccer skills at the brand-new "Rapids Fun Zone," the interactive soccer theme park, which is all new for 1999. Games of skill, and many just for fun, highlight the new event which will be found before several Rapids home games in 1999.
