DENVER (Tuesday, April 14, 1998) - The Colorado Rapids travel to Colorado Springs to take on the Air Force Academy Wednesday in an exhibition game at 4 p.m at the Cadet Soccer Stadium. The third-annual match played between the two sides, the Rapids lead the series at 1-0-1.
The Rapids defeated Air Force, 4-0, in the first meeting two years ago. Last year, the Rapids were forced to fight back from behind to tie the Falcons 2-2. Wolde Harris provided both goals for the Rapids.
The exhibition game is scheduled for a 4:00 p.m. start time on Wednesday at the Cadet Soccer Stadium. Admission is $1 for students and military, and $3 for adults.
The Rapids will be back to Major League Soccer action on Sunday at Mile High Stadium, taking on the Tampa Bay Mutiny at 1:00 p.m.
