NEWS RELEASE
DENVER (Tuesday, April 14, 1998) - Colorado Rapids captain Steve Trittschuh and goalkeeper Marcus Hahnemann will be appearing at C.U.'s Farrand Field Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. as part of an afternoon of events that includes food booths from local restaurants, music from KBCO-FM and interactive soccer contests. The C.U. Women's Soccer Team will be joining the festivities and taking part in skills demonstrations with the Rapids players.
Trittschuh and Hahnemann will be on hand to take part in the demonstrations, as well as sign autographs, for the entire two hours. The Rapids "Kick Center," an interactive soccer display, will be set up on the field for all to test their skills with and against the Rapids and C.U. Women's Team players.
The Colorado Rapids' next game is set for Sunday, April 19, as they face the Tampa Bay Mutiny at Mile High Stadium at 1:00 p.m.
