NEWS RELEASE

DENVER (Tuesday, December 8, 1998) - The Rapids today unveiled a new "Flexi-Pass" ticketing plan for the 1999 season, which offers fans a flexible choice of discounted tickets to Colorado Rapids home games this season.
The new plan allows fans to purchase sets of ten vouchers, good for any regular-season game, for only $100.
Each voucher may be redeemed for one $12 reserved seat to a 1999 Colorado Rapids regular-season contest at Mile High Stadium, a savings of $2 per seat and $20 overall.
The vouchers may be used in any combination, thus allowing fans to redeem all ten vouchers for ten tickets to one game, one voucher each for ten different games, or any combination in between.
The vouchers may be redeemed four different ways:
1) In advance, by mail to the Colorado Rapids Ticket Office, 555 17th Street, Suite 3350, Denver, Co, 80202.
2) In advance, in person at the Colorado Rapids offices, address listed above.
3) In advance but during the season, in person at the Mile High Stadium North Box Office between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
4) On the day of a game, at the Mile High Stadium North Box Office, at any window marked "Flexi-Pass."
The Colorado Rapids open their 1999 Major League Soccer regular season home schedule on Saturday, April 10, at 7:00 p.m. (MT) when they host the Miami Fusion at Mile High Stadium.
The remainder of the Rapids' 1999 schedule will be announced in the near future.
