RAPIDS CALL UP CRAIG WAIBEL FROM SEATTLE SOUNDERS OF A-LEAGUE FOR SATURDAY

Rapids Again Go To Minor-League Call-Ups To Combat Injury Woes

DENVER (Friday, April 28, 2000) - The Colorado Rapids today called up defender/midfielder Craig Waibel from the Seattle Sounders of the A-League for this Saturday's game against the Kansas City Wizards at Mile High Stadium (7:00 pm MT, radio: KKFN, KMXA).

The call-up was made as the Rapids once again face a scarcity of healthy bodies for this weekend. Expected to miss the game through injury are Ross Paule (knee), Anders Limpar (hamstring), Joey DiGiamarino (groin), Lance Key (groin) and Wes Hart (knee). Goalkeeper Adin Brown will miss the game as he remains with the U.S. Olympic Team. Also questionable for the game through injury are Paul Bravo (calf) and Henry Zambrano (hamstring).
