RAPIDS ANNOUNCE THREE SCHEDULE CHANGES

Opening Game At Los Angeles Pushed Back To Saturday, March 20 To Accommodate Television Broadcast DENVER (Tuesday, March 2, 1999) - The Colorado Rapids today announced three alterations to their 1999 Major League Soccer regular-season schedule. The 1999 regular-season opener at Los Angeles has been changed from Sunday, March 21 to Saturday, March 20 to accommodate television broadcasts. Kickoff is set for 8:30 p.m. (MT). The time of the July 31 game at the Cotton Bowl against the Dallas Burn has been changed from 6:30 p.m. (MT) to 6:00 p.m. to accommodate an ESPN national telecast of the match. The July 21 game against the Los Angeles Galaxy at Mile High Stadium has been pushed back one week to July 28. The game will still kick off at 7:00 p.m. Tickets for the Colorado Rapids' 1999 MLS season at Mile High Stadium are now on sale. Please call the Colorado Rapids at (303) 299-1599 for more information. The home opener is set for Saturday, April 10, when Colorado hosts the Miami Fusion at 7:00 p.m. (MT) at Mile High Stadium.
