With talented defenders and forwards, the Colorado Rapids continue to be outplayed in the center midfield. Their style of "Direct" soccer may have been successful elsewhere, but it is struggling in the MLS. It is time to consider using the creativity of their talented midfielders.

With the continous use of the longball and the offsides trap, opponents can easily read the Rapids' game plan.

In todays' game, Valdorama dominated the center midfield, and basically did what he wanted.

In any case, many of the Rapids' home games are entertaining, and deserve better attendance.
