With 20 minutes left in the 1st half, the game is scoreless. Neither team has mounted a dangerous attack yet.

The pace has increased in the last 15 minutes, with both teams having shots on goal. Rapids' Chris Henderson's shot on goal hit the left post. Clash's Tim Martin counter attacked, solo, barely missed scoring. Both teams are trying very hard to score, with some exciting moments, yet the score remains 0 - 0 with 10 minutes left in the half.

Throughout the first half, players from both teams have been overacting trying to get a call from Referee, Ali Saheli, who is not buying it.

With about 2 minutes left, the Clash are threatening, but unable to score. First half ended with the Colorado Rapids 0 San Jose Clash 0.

In the 2nd half, the game pace continued.

Cross from Adrian Paz to Ross Paule who scored a great header goal. Second assist went to Paul Bravo, in the 50th minute. This was Paule's 3rd goal in the last two games

Great shot by Chris Henderson in the 56th minute scoring Colorado's 2nd goal. This is Chris' 1st goal since his return from the US National Team. Assist went to Taj Jakins and Joey DiGiamarino. Rapids' Waldir is in for Wolde Harris in the 57th minute.

Tonight's attendance is 18,473. The game will be followed by a concert featuring the Village People

With only 17 minutes left in the game, San Jose's urgency is very evident as they are attacking with 10 players.

The Colorado Rapids defeated the San Jose Clash 2 - 0 with the main action occuring in the 2nd half. This is Colorado's 3rd win in a row, increasing their points to 14.
