The Tampa Bay Mutiny dominated the 2nd half of the game with scores by Ivan McKinley and Steve Ralston. The Colorado Rapids only goal came from a penalty kick by Jean Harbor in the 10th minute. Chris Woods, new starting goalkeeper for the Rapids made his debut. He comes with an impressive list of achievements, including being a member of England's 1986 and 1990 World Cup Teams. The Mutiny featured Columbian World Cup Team star, Carlos Valderrama.
