He signed a full-time contract with the U.S. National Team following the Olympics and was a member of the 1990 U.S. World Cup Team in Italy, playing in the USA's first game against Czechoslovakia ... Scored a goal in the USA's 1-1 tie with Trinidad in a World Cup qualifying game ... Had made 45 U.S. appearances and scored four goals from 1987-91 ... Then, after a three-year U.S. team hiatus, he rejoined the U.S. National team in October 1995 for the USA's 4-3 victory over Saudi Arabia ... Scored all three of the USA goals in the 1991 President's Cup in Seoul, South Korea.
PRO OUTDOOR CAREER: The only U.S. player to play in the Czechoslovakian First Division, he played every game in leading Sparta Prague to the 1991 league championship ... Following his season at Prague he again played every game for S.VV Dordrecht of the Dutch First Division ... Has spent the last five years playing with three teams in the APSL, scoring 18 goals and adding 12 assists ... In 1995 he led Montreal to the APSL league championship.
PRO INDOOR CAREER: Joined the MISL's St. Louis Steamers out of college in 1987 and scored 10 goals and five assists ... Did not play indoor again until 1994 when he led the St. Louis Ambush to the NPSL championship, scoring seven goals and eight assists.
COLLEGE CAREER: Enjoyed an outstanding collegiate career at Southern Illinois, where he received third-team and first-team All-American recognition his junior and senior year, respectively ... In four years at Southern Illinois, he played in 71 games, scored 12 goals and added 11 assists.
PERSONAL: Married to Suzanne, Dec. 9. 1989 ... His family, including one brother, still reside in Granite City, Ill.
